Composition (per film-coated tablet):

• Famciclovir (500 mg):

Indications:

Famciclovir is primarily used for the treatment of infections caused by the herpes virus, including:

1. Herpes Zoster (Shingles): Famciclovir reduces the severity and duration of the shingles rash, which is caused by the varicella-zoster virus.
2. Genital Herpes: Famciclovir is effective in treating primary and recurrent genital herpes caused by Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV-2).
3. Cold Sores (Herpes Labialis): Famciclovir can also be used to treat oral herpes (cold sores) caused by Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV-1).
