Levolin Plus Jr Syrup – 100 ml Bottle
Composition (Per 5 ml):
- Levosalbutamol Sulphate IP (equivalent to Levosalbutamol) – 0.50 mg
(Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator that helps open up the airways in the lungs, making it easier to breathe. It is commonly used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).) - Ambroxol Hydrochloride IP – 15 mg
(Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that helps to break down and thin mucus in the respiratory tract, making it easier to cough up and clear out excess mucus.) - Guaiphenesin IP – 50 mg
(Guaiphenesin is an expectorant that helps loosen and thin mucus in the airways, aiding in the clearance of mucus from the lungs and relieving congestion.) - Flavoured Syrupy Base – Quantity Sufficient (q.s.)

Indications:
- Levolin Plus Jr Syrup is used in the treatment of respiratory conditions, particularly those associated with excessive mucus production, wheezing, and difficulty breathing. It is commonly prescribed for:
- Asthma: To relieve bronchospasm and improve airflow.
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD): To help open airways and make breathing easier.
- Chronic bronchitis and emphysema: Conditions where mucus buildup obstructs the airway.
- Cough and congestion: It helps in the clearing of mucus from the lungs and easing cough.
- Wheezing and shortness of breath due to asthma or other respiratory disorders.
Dosage:
- As directed by a healthcare provider, but typical doses may include:
- For children (2-6 years old): 5 ml (half a teaspoon) 2 to 3 times a day.
- For children (6-12 years old): 5 ml (half a teaspoon) 3 to 4 times a day.
