Composition (Per 5 ml):
- Sodium Valproate IP – 200 mg
(Sodium Valproate is the active ingredient used in the treatment of epilepsy and certain mood disorders. It works by stabilizing electrical activity in the brain.) - Flavoured Syrup Base – Quantity Sufficient

Indications:
- Encorate Syrup is primarily used to treat epilepsy and seizure disorders, including:
- Generalized tonic-clonic seizures
- Absence seizures
- Myoclonic seizures
- It may also be prescribed for bipolar disorder and migraine prevention, as sodium valproate has mood-stabilizing properties.
Dosage:
- The dosage should be as directed by a healthcare provider based on the patient’s age, weight, and condition being treated.
- Typically, the syrup is taken once or twice daily, with gradual increases in the dose to find the most effective and safe level.
