Composition (Per 5 ml):

• Sodium Valproate IP – 200 mg
  (Sodium Valproate is the active ingredient used in the treatment of epilepsy and certain mood disorders. It works by stabilizing electrical activity in the brain.)
• Flavoured Syrup Base – Quantity Sufficient
  (The syrup base provides a palatable flavor to make it easier for patients to take the medication, especially in children.)

Indications:

• Encorate Syrup is primarily used to treat epilepsy and seizure disorders, including:
  • Generalized tonic-clonic seizures
  • Absence seizures
  • Myoclonic seizures
• It may also be prescribed for bipolar disorder and migraine prevention, as sodium valproate has mood-stabilizing properties.

Dosage:

• The dosage should be as directed by a healthcare provider based on the patient’s age, weight, and condition being treated.
• Typically, the syrup is taken once or twice daily, with gradual increases in the dose to find the most effective and safe level.
