💡 Description:

Statpure 5 contains Rosuvastatin Calcium, a lipid-lowering agent (statin) used to manage high cholesterol levels and reduce cardiovascular risk.

🩺 Indications:

• Hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol)

• Dyslipidemia

• Prevention of cardiovascular events (heart attack, stroke) in at-risk patients

🔬 Mechanism of Action:

Rosuvastatin inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme involved in cholesterol synthesis in the liver. This results in:

• ↓ LDL (bad cholesterol)

• ↑ HDL (good cholesterol)

• ↓ Triglycerides

💊 Dosage:

• As prescribed by the physician

• Usually once daily, with or without food

• Monitor liver function and lipid levels regularly

• Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney disease

• Not recommended in pregnancy or lactation
