Description

Sitara-DM 500 is an oral anti-diabetic medication, commonly prescribed for managing Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It is effective in lowering blood sugar levels in individuals who cannot control their blood glucose levels through diet and exercise alone.

Composition:

Metformin Hydrochloride (500 mg)

• Metformin, a biguanide, is the active ingredient. It helps control blood sugar by:
  • Reducing glucose production in the liver.
  • Improving insulin sensitivity.
  • Decreasing glucose absorption in the intestines.

Uses:

• Primarily indicated for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
