Composition (Each tablet contains):

• Acebrophylline IP – 200 mg

• Montelukast Sodium IP
  (equivalent to Montelukast) – 10 mg

Therapeutic Class:

Bronchodilator + Leukotriene Receptor Antagonist

Uses / Indications:

Montair AB Tablets are indicated for:

• Bronchial asthma

• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

• Allergic bronchitis

• Wheezing and breathlessness associated with allergy

• Long-term respiratory inflammation control

How It Works (Mechanism of Action):

• Acebrophylline: Relaxes bronchial muscles, improves airflow, and reduces mucus secretion

• Montelukast: Blocks leukotrienes, decreasing airway inflammation and allergic response

Dosage:

• Adults: 1 tablet once or twice daily, as prescribed

• Preferably taken after meals

• Route: Oral

Common Side Effects (Usually Mild):

• Nausea

• Stomach discomfort

• Headache

• Palpitations (rare)

Precautions:

• Use caution in cardiac disorders, liver disease, or peptic ulcer

• Not for acute asthma attack

• Avoid excessive caffeine

• Pregnancy & lactation: use only if prescribed

Storage:

• Store below 25°C

• Protect from moisture

• Keep out of reach of children
