Isotroin 10 – Strip of 15 Capsules is a prescription medication used primarily for the treatment of severe acne that does not respond to other treatments such as antibiotics.

✅ Composition:

• Isotretinoin IP 10 mg
  (A derivative of Vitamin A)

💊 Uses:

• Severe nodular acne

• Cystic acne

• Acne unresponsive to other treatments

• Certain cases of rosacea and folliculitis (off-label)

⚠️ Important Warnings:

🚫 Pregnancy Warning – Category X:

• Extremely high risk of birth defects if taken during pregnancy.

• Women of childbearing age must use 2 forms of contraception starting 1 month before, during, and 1 month after treatment.

• Pregnancy test is mandatory before starting treatment and regularly during the course.

🔄 Common Side Effects:

• Dry skin and lips

• Nosebleeds

• Dry eyes

• Muscle/joint pain

• Increased sensitivity to the sun

• Elevated liver enzymes or blood lipids (needs monitoring)
