Composition: Each 5 mL of the suspension contains:

• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 250 mg

General Information: Dolo-250 is an oral suspension primarily used to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. It contains paracetamol (also known as acetaminophen), a commonly used analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). Paracetamol works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, substances in the body that promote inflammation, pain, and fever.

Uses:

• Pain relief for mild to moderate pain, including headaches, toothaches, muscle aches, or menstrual cramps.
• Fever reduction in conditions such as flu, cold, or other infections.

Dosage:

• For children, the dosage of Dolo-250 suspension is typically based on their age and weight. The usual dose is 10-15 mg of paracetamol per kilogram of body weight, given every 4-6 hours as needed.
• The maximum daily dose should not exceed 75 mg per kilogram of body weight.

Example Dosing (for children):

• For children aged 2-4 years (weighing about 12-16 kg): 5 mL (250 mg) every 4-6 hours, as needed.
• For children aged 5-12 years (weighing about 18-30 kg): 10 mL (500 mg) every 4-6 hours, as needed.
• Always follow the dosing instructions provided by your doctor or as indicated on the packaging, and do not exceed the recommended dose.

Important Notes:

• Shake the bottle well before use to ensure the medication is properly mixed.
• Use the provided measuring spoon or syringe for accurate dosing.
• Take with or without food, but if your child experiences stomach upset, consider administering it with food.
• Avoid giving this product with other medications that also contain paracetamol to prevent accidental overdose.
