Composition: Each tablet contains:

• Ibuprofen 400 mg
• Paracetamol 325 mg

General Information: Brufen P is a combination pain relief medication that contains two active ingredients:

1. Ibuprofen (400 mg) – A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces inflammation, pain, and fever. It works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals in the body involved in inflammation and pain.
2. Paracetamol (325 mg) – Also known as acetaminophen, it is a widely used pain reliever and fever reducer. It works by blocking the production of certain chemicals in the brain that signal pain and regulate body temperature.

Uses:

• Effective for the relief of mild to moderate pain, including headaches, dental pain, menstrual pain, muscle aches, and joint pain.
• Reduces fever and helps alleviate pain associated with conditions like colds or flu.
• Often used for combined analgesic (pain-relieving) effects in conditions where both anti-inflammatory and pain relief properties are required.

Dosage:

• The usual dosage for adults is 1 tablet (400 mg Ibuprofen + 325 mg Paracetamol) every 4-6 hours as needed.
• Do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours, unless directed by a healthcare provider.

Important Notes:

• Take with food to minimize stomach irritation, especially when taking ibuprofen.
• Avoid using additional ibuprofen or paracetamol from other sources, as this can lead to overdose.
• Caution is required in people with liver or kidney problems, gastrointestinal issues, or a history of ulcers.
