Silodal D8 is a combination medication used to treat Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) in adult men. BPH is a common, non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland that can obstruct urinary flow and cause symptoms such as weak stream, frequent urination, incomplete bladder emptying, and nocturia (night-time urination).

Each Silodal D8 capsule contains:

• Silodosin (8 mg) – A selective alpha-1A adrenergic receptor blocker.

• Dutasteride (0.5 mg) – A 5-alpha reductase inhibitor.

How It Works:

Silodal D8 works through a dual mechanism:

1. Silodosin (8 mg):

   • Relaxes smooth muscles in the bladder neck and prostate.

2. Dutasteride (0.5 mg):
