Composition: Each tablet contains:

• Thiocolchicoside 4 mg
• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 500 mg

General Information: Dolo TH 4 is a combination medication containing thiocolchicoside and paracetamol, designed to provide muscle relaxant and pain-relieving effects. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant, while paracetamol is a widely used analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer).

• Thiocolchicoside is used primarily to relieve muscle spasms and stiffness, often in conditions like back pain, neck pain, or other musculoskeletal issues.
• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) is effective for relieving pain and reducing fever, making it useful for treating various types of discomfort, including headaches, toothaches, and body aches.

Uses:

• Pain relief: For conditions such as musculoskeletal pain, back pain, neck pain, and muscle spasms.
• Muscle relaxation: Helps reduce muscle stiffness and spasms associated with conditions like sprains, strains, and other soft tissue injuries.
• Fever reduction: For reducing fever caused by infections like flu or cold.

Dosage:

• For adults: The typical dosage is 1 tablet of Dolo TH 4 every 12 hours or as prescribed by the doctor.
• The maximum daily dose should not exceed 2 tablets (1,000 mg paracetamol + 8 mg thiocolchicoside).

Important Notes:

• Take with or without food, but it may be taken with food if it causes stomach discomfort.
• Avoid alcohol while using this medication as it may increase the risk of liver damage due to paracetamol.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose to avoid potential side effects like liver damage from paracetamol or drowsiness from thiocolchicoside.
