DOLO-MF – Bottle of 60 ml Suspension

Composition: Each 5 mL of the suspension contains:

• Mefenamic Acid 100 mg
• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) 250 mg

General Information: DOLO-MF is a combination pain relief suspension containing mefenamic acid and paracetamol. Mefenamic acid is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps reduce pain and inflammation, while paracetamol works as an analgesic and antipyretic, helping to relieve pain and reduce fever.

This combination is particularly useful for managing a variety of mild to moderate pain conditions, especially when both an anti-inflammatory effect and fever reduction are needed.

Uses:

• Pain relief from conditions such as headaches, toothaches, muscle aches, back pain, and menstrual cramps.
• Reduction of fever caused by infections like flu or cold.

Dosage:

• The typical dosage for children and adults varies based on age, weight, and the severity of the condition.
• For children, the usual dosage is based on 10-15 mg of mefenamic acid and 20-30 mg of paracetamol per kg of body weight per day, divided into multiple doses. It’s important to consult the packaging or a doctor for specific age-based instructions.

For example:

• For children aged 2-5 years: A typical dose is 5 mL (100 mg mefenamic acid + 250 mg paracetamol) every 6 hours, as needed.
• For children aged 6-12 years: The dose may be 10 mL (200 mg mefenamic acid + 500 mg paracetamol) every 6 hours, but not exceeding 30 mL per day.

Important Notes:
