Effective Against

Ciclopirox is active against:

• Dermatophytes (ringworm-causing fungi)
• Yeasts (such as Candida)
• Moulds
• Some bacteria that may worsen skin infections

Common Uses

• Ringworm (Tinea corporis)
• Athlete’s foot (Tinea pedis)
• Jock itch (Tinea cruris)
• Fungal infections of skin folds
• Mild mixed fungal–bacterial skin infections (as advised by a doctor)

Duration of Treatment

• Usually 2–4 weeks, depending on the infection
• Athlete’s foot may require longer treatment
• Continue use for the full prescribed period, even if symptoms improve early
