Zedex Plus Cough Syrup – Bottle of 100 ml

Composition (Each 5 ml contains):

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate IP – 2 mg

• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide IP – 10 mg

• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride IP – 5 mg

Therapeutic Class:

Antitussive + Antihistamine + Nasal Decongestant

Uses / Indications:

Zedex Plus Syrup is used for relief from:

• Dry cough

• Cough associated with common cold

• Nasal congestion

• Runny nose & sneezing

• Throat irritation

How It Works (Mechanism of Action):

• Dextromethorphan: Suppresses cough reflex

• Chlorpheniramine: Controls allergic symptoms

• Phenylephrine: Relieves nasal and sinus congestion

Dosage:

• Adults: 5–10 ml, 2–3 times daily

• Children: As directed by physician

• Route: Oral

• Shake well before use

Common Side Effects:

• Drowsiness

• Dry mouth

• Dizziness

• Mild rise in blood pressure (rare)

Precautions:

• Avoid alcohol and sedatives

• Use caution in hypertension, heart disease, thyroid disorder, or glaucoma

• Not recommended for productive (wet) cough

• Pregnancy & lactation: use only if prescribed

Storage:

• Store below 25°C

• Protect from light

• Keep out of reach of children
