Melalite Forte Cream is a prescription topical depigmenting formulation containing Hydroquinone USP 4% w/w, used for the treatment of melasma, hyperpigmentation, dark spots, freckles, and post-inflammatory pigmentation. It works by inhibiting melanin synthesis in the skin, helping lighten darkened areas when used under medical supervision.

Composition

• Hydroquinone USP: 4% w/w

Preservatives:

• Methylparaben IP – 0.077% w/w

• Propylparaben BP – 0.016% w/w

• Ethylparaben BP – 0.016% w/w

Mechanism of Action

• Hydroquinone inhibits the enzyme tyrosinase, reducing melanin production and gradually lightening hyperpigmented skin.

Directions for Use

Apply a thin layer of Melalite Forte Cream to the affected area once daily at night or as directed by a dermatologist. Avoid applying on normal skin. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen during daytime.
