Salt Composition (Each film-coated tablet contains):

• Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride IP – 5 mg

• Montelukast Sodium IP (equivalent to Montelukast) – 10 mg

Therapeutic Class:

Antihistamine + Leukotriene Receptor Antagonist

Uses / Indications:

Lecope-M Tablets are indicated for:

• Allergic rhinitis (seasonal & perennial)

• Sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion

• Itchy & watery eyes

• Allergy-associated asthma (adjunct therapy)

• Chronic urticaria (hives)

How It Works (Mechanism of Action):

• Levocetirizine: Blocks histamine (H1) receptors to relieve allergy symptoms

• Montelukast: Blocks leukotrienes, reducing airway inflammation, nasal congestion, and allergy-induced bronchospasm

Dosage:

• Adults & children ≥12 years: 1 tablet once daily

• Preferably taken in the evening

• Route: Oral

Common Side Effects:

• Headache

• Mild drowsiness

• Dry mouth

• Abdominal discomfort (rare)

Precautions:

• Use caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment

• Avoid alcohol (may increase drowsiness)

• Not intended for acute asthma attack

• Pregnancy & lactation: use only if prescribed

Storage:

• Store below 25°C

• Protect from moisture

• Keep out of reach of children
