Lecope-M Kid Tablet DT – Strip of 10 Tablets

Salt Composition (Each dispersible tablet contains):

• Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride IP – 2.5 mg

• Montelukast Sodium IP (equivalent to Montelukast) – 4 mg

Dosage Form:

DT = Dispersible Tablet
Tablet can be dispersed in a small amount of water before administration.

Therapeutic Class:

Antihistamine + Leukotriene Receptor Antagonist
(Paediatric formulation)

Uses / Indications:

Lecope-M Kid Tablet DT is indicated for:

• Allergic rhinitis in children

• Sneezing & runny nose

• Nasal congestion

• Itchy, watery eyes

• Allergy-associated wheezing / asthma (adjunct therapy)

How It Works (Mechanism of Action):

• Levocetirizine: Relieves allergy symptoms by blocking histamine

• Montelukast: Reduces airway inflammation and allergy-induced bronchospasm

Dosage:

• Children (2–5 years): As prescribed by pediatrician

• Usually once daily in the evening

• Disperse tablet in water or allow to dissolve in mouth

Common Side Effects (Usually Mild):

• Mild drowsiness

• Headache

• Abdominal pain (rare)

• Thirst

Precautions:

• Use only under pediatric supervision

• Not for treatment of acute asthma attack

• Caution in liver disorders

• Do not exceed prescribed dose

Storage:

• Store below 25°C
