. antifungal skin cream used to treat fungal infections of the skin.

✅ Composition

• Ketoconazole IP 2% w/w – Antifungal medicine that kills fungus by damaging its cell membrane.

✅ Uses

Used for treating fungal skin infections such as:

• Ringworm (Daad)

• Athlete’s foot

• Jock itch

• Seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff-related skin infection)

• Fungal infection on face, chest, back, or body

• Yeast infections of skin

✅ How It Works

Ketoconazole stops the growth of fungus by preventing formation of its protective cell membrane, which kills the infection.

✅ How to Use

• Clean and dry affected area.

• Apply a thin layer 1–2 times daily (as prescribed).

• Wash hands before and after use.

• Continue full course even if symptoms improve.

✅ Common Side Effects

• Mild burning or irritation

• Redness

• Itching

• Dry skin

(Usually mild and temporary.)

⚠️ Precautions

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or open wounds.
