Type / Form:

• A Unani compound drug in a semisolid (paste) form.

Key Ingredients / Composition:

• Elettaria cardamomum (Heel Khurd / cardamom)

• Coriandrum sativum (Kishniz / coriander)

• Emblica officinalis (Murabba Amla)

• Terminalia chebula (Murabba Halela)

• Aqua Borago officinalis (Arq Gaozaban)

• Sugar (Qand / Qand Safaid)

Indications / Uses:

• Supports weak digestion and low appetite

• Acts as a tonic for the heart and brain / nervous system

• Helps relieve anxiety and restlessness

• May help regulate / reduce mild elevations in body temperature

• Used for palpitations (rapid or irregular heartbeat)

• Helps reduce gas (flatulence) and heartburn

• Can ease constipation in some cases

Dosage:

• Generally, 5–10 grams in the morning on an empty stomach, taken with water.

• In some Unani practices, a higher dose (10–15 grams) twice daily after meals may be prescribed (under practitioner supervision).

Precautions / Storage:

• Store in a cool, dry place.

• Keep the container tightly closed after use.

• Keep out of the reach of children.

• Self-medication is not recommended; should ideally be used under the guidance of a qualified Unani physician.

Safety / Research Notes:

• A 90-day oral toxicity study in rats was done for this formulation; at tested doses, it was evaluated for safety.
