Crema Ano – 20g Tube
Composition (per gram):

• Lignocaine (Lidocaine) 4% w/w – A local anesthetic that provides rapid relief from pain, burning, and itching.

• Metronidazole 1% w/w – An antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agent effective against anaerobic bacteria; helps control infection and reduce inflammation in anorectal conditions.

• Sucralfate 7% w/w – A mucosal protectant that forms a barrier over wounds, promoting healing and protecting tissue from irritation.

Indications / Uses:

Crema Ano is generally prescribed for:

• Anal fissures

• Hemorrhoids (piles)

• Post-operative anorectal wound care

• Perianal irritation or itching

• Management of anal pain with associated infection risk and mucosal damage

Dosage and Application:

As directed by the physician.

Typical use:

• Apply a small amount to the affected area 2–3 times daily, particularly after cleaning the area and/or after bowel movements.

• Use a gloved finger or applicator for intra-anal application if advised.

• Wash hands before and after application.

Precautions:

• For external and rectal use only.

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or open bleeding wounds unless directed.

• Do not use if allergic to local anesthetics (like lignocaine), metronidazole, or sucralfate.

• Not recommended for prolonged use unless prescribed.
