⚙️ Mechanism of Action:
Ciprofloxacin is a bactericidal fluoroquinolone antibiotic that:

Inhibits DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV

Blocks bacterial DNA replication → leads to bacterial death
Effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa
🧴 Dosage (Typical):
👁️ For Eye Infections:

1–2 drops in the affected eye every 4–6 hours

For corneal ulcers: initially every 15 minutes to 1 hour (as directed)
👂 For Ear Infections:

3–4 drops in the affected ear twice or thrice daily

Tilt head sideways; remain in position for a few minutes
Duration: Typically 5–7 days, or as prescribed
