Children <6 yrs Prefer Cetirizine syrup – dose based on weight
Elderly / Renal Impairment Start with 5 mg daily under supervision

Best taken at night, especially if mild drowsiness occurs.


⚠️ Precautions:

  • May cause mild drowsiness or dizziness

  • Avoid alcohol or sedatives during use

  • Use with caution in kidney or liver impairment

  • Safe in pregnancy (Category B) – but take only under doctor’s advice
