Bro-Zedex LS Syrup – Bottle of 100 ml

Composition (Each 5 ml contains):

• Levosalbutamol Sulphate LP
  (equivalent to Levosalbutamol) – 1 mg

• Ambroxol Hydrochloride IR – 30 mg

• Guaiphenesin IP – 50 mg

Therapeutic Class:

Bronchodilator + Mucolytic + Expectorant

Uses / Indications:

Bro-Zedex LS Syrup is used in the management of:

• Productive (wet) cough

• Chest congestion

• Acute & chronic bronchitis

• Bronchial asthma (adjunct therapy)

• COPD and other respiratory tract disorders with mucus

How It Works (Mechanism of Action):

• Levosalbutamol: Relaxes bronchial muscles and opens airways, making breathing easier

• Ambroxol: Breaks and thins thick mucus, improving clearance

• Guaiphenesin: Helps expel loosened mucus from the respiratory tract

Dosage:

• Adults: 5–10 ml, 2–3 times daily

• Children: As directed by physician

• Route: Oral

• Shake well before use

Common Side Effects:

• Mild tremors

• Nausea or gastric discomfort

• Headache

• Palpitations (rare)

Side effects are usually mild and temporary.

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, or hyperthyroidism

• Pregnancy & lactation: use only if prescribed

• Do not exceed recommended dose
