Composition (Each 5 ml contains):

• Terbutaline Sulphate IP – 1.25 mg

• Bromhexine Hydrochloride IP – 4 mg

• Guaiphenesin IP – 50 mg

• Menthol IP – 2.5 mg

• Flavoured syrupy base – q.s.

SF = Sugar Free
Bro-Zedex SF is a sugar-free formulation, suitable for diabetic patients or those who need to avoid sugar.

Therapeutic Class:

Bronchodilator + Mucolytic + Expectorant + Antitussive combination

Uses / Indications:

Bro-Zedex Syrup is used for the relief of:

• Productive (wet) cough

• Chest congestion

• Bronchitis

• Bronchial asthma (adjunct therapy)

• COPD and other respiratory tract conditions with mucus

How It Works (Action of Ingredients):

• Terbutaline: Relaxes airway muscles, improves breathing

• Bromhexine: Breaks down thick mucus

• Guaiphenesin: Helps expel mucus from the lungs

• Menthol: Provides soothing effect and relieves throat irritation

Dosage:

• Adults: 5–10 ml, 2–3 times daily

• Children: As directed by physician

• Route: Oral

• Shake well before use

Common Side Effects:

• Mild tremors

• Nausea or stomach discomfort

• Headache

• Palpitations (rare)

Usually mild and temporary.

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, or thyroid disorders

• Not recommended during pregnancy unless prescribed

• Avoid overdose
