Composition (Each film-coated tablet contains):

• Bisoprolol Fumarate IP – 5 mg

• Amlodipine Besilate IP – equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg

• Excipients – q.s.

Therapeutic Class:

Beta-blocker + Calcium Channel Blocker

Uses / Indications:

Bisoheart-AM 5 Tablets are used for:

• Hypertension (high blood pressure)

• Chronic stable angina

• Patients requiring combination therapy for better BP control

• Cardiovascular risk reduction under medical supervision

How It Works (Mechanism of Action):

• Bisoprolol reduces heart rate and cardiac workload by blocking β1-receptors.

• Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels by blocking calcium channels, improving blood flow.

Together, they provide effective and sustained blood pressure control.

Dosage & Administration:

• Usually 1 tablet once daily

• Take at the same time each day

• Swallow whole with water

• Dose as directed by physician

Common Side Effects (Usually Mild):

• Dizziness

• Fatigue

• Headache

• Ankle swelling

• Slow heart rate

Precautions:

• Do not stop abruptly

• Caution in heart block, liver disease, and heart failure

• Monitor BP and pulse regularly

• Pregnancy & breastfeeding: use only if prescribed
