Composition:
Each film-coated tablet contains:

• Bisoprolol Fumarate IP – 5 mg

• Excipients q.s.

Drug Class:

• Cardio-selective Beta-1 Blocker

🔹 USES

• Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)

• Angina pectoris (Chest pain)

• Chronic heart failure (doctor supervised)

• Tachycardia / Palpitations

• Heart protection after heart attack (as prescribed)

🔹 HOW IT WORKS

Bisoprolol blocks β1-receptors in the heart, which:

• Slows heart rate

• Reduces force of heart contraction

• Lowers blood pressure

• Decreases oxygen demand of the heart

🔹 DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

• Usual dose: 2.5–10 mg once daily

• Corbis-5 is commonly taken once daily

• Take at the same time each day

• Can be taken with or without food

⚠️ Do not stop suddenly

🔹 COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

• Dizziness

• Fatigue

• Slow pulse

• Cold hands or feet

• Headache

🔹 PRECAUTIONS

• Use with caution in diabetes, asthma, COPD

• May mask symptoms of low blood sugar

• Avoid in severe bradycardia or heart block

• Consult doctor if breathlessness or fainting occurs
