Composition (Each film-coated tablet contains):

• Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride IP – 5 mg

Therapeutic Class:

Antihistamine (Second-generation)

Uses / Indications:

Lecope Tablets are used for the relief of:

• Allergic rhinitis (seasonal & perennial)

• Sneezing

• Runny or blocked nose

• Itchy, watery eyes

• Urticaria (hives) and other allergic skin conditions

How It Works (Mechanism of Action):

• Levocetirizine blocks histamine (H1) receptors, reducing allergy symptoms such as itching, sneezing, and swelling without causing significant drowsiness.

Dosage:

• Adults & children ≥6 years: 1 tablet once daily (preferably in the evening)

• Children <6 years: As directed by physician

• Route: Oral

Common Side Effects:

• Mild drowsiness

• Dry mouth

• Headache

• Fatigue

(Side effects are usually mild and temporary.)

Precautions:

• Use caution in patients with kidney impairment

• Avoid alcohol (may increase drowsiness)

• Pregnancy & lactation: use only if prescribed

• Do not exceed recommended dose

Storage:

• Store below 25°C

• Protect from moisture

• Keep out of reach of children
